Direct from their HQ in Granton, Edinburgh (setting of the ‘90’s cult classic “Trainspotting”), THE MOON KIDS have been tipped to be “Scotland’s next big thing!”

THE MOON KIDS recently got the thumbs up from London Grammar, Run DMC and Tom Waits when their song “Luna Park” reached the final of the International Songwriting Competition in Nashville, TN. Frequently played on BBC Radio in the U.K., stateside the band have also grabbed the attention of Rodney Bingenheimer who regularly plays the group’s music on his SiriusXM Satellite Radio show. They also opened for legendary Blondie drummer Clem Burke in Glasgow.

In 2019, the band made their U.S. debut when they performed two sold-out shows in Hollywood and a SofarSounds.com session in Long beach. On their return home, the group penned their long awaited second EP ‘Ride with the Hurricanes’.
