What is your hometown?
My hometown is a place in the U.K. called Wallsend which is named after the end of the Roman Wall.
What is your current location?
My current location is a city called Newcastle Upon Tyne, Brian Johnson from ACDC and Sting are from the same place.
Who are your favorite composers/producers?
My favorite composers are Alan Silvestri, Brian Tyler, Hans Zimmer and Thomas Newman, I love them because they really connect with me on an emotional level.
What is an interesting fun fact about you?
I once had a drink with Steve Lukather from TOTO in a nightclub, we sat and talked for several hours, he told me that whilst he was touring with Paul Rogers the drummer from Def Leppard was Babysitting his kids!! I also have a guilty pleasure for Modern Country music but don't tell anyone!
I am Rob from the UK, 45, married father of 2 girls.
From the age of 12, I started playing guitar in various types of bands ranging from Pop, Rock, Metal, Blues, Instrumental and cover bands. I went to college to study Jazz at 16 and one of the modules was to try and write music to picture - that was my lightbulb moment!! Since then I have been obsessed with writing music for media, I have been lucky enough to write music ranging from radio jingles, TV and movie trailers and had some great placements with various publishers. I am really looking forward to working with PSM, all of my peers who have also worked with them told me they are a brilliant team so I had no choice but to get in touch. Really glad to be on board with such a talented group of people.
