Cameron Paul
Cameron grew up in the foothills of Northern California, the son of a small business owner who traded a Corvette for his newborn’s hospital bill. At 13, he learned his first guitar chords from his dad. By 17, he was performing his first original song in front of 1,500 classmates—a moment that marked the beginning of a lifelong pursuit of music that hits the feels.
He started helping at his local church, eventually becoming the Music Director while launching The Reel, a band that’s played stages from the CMA Awards to the Donor Olympics, opened for Switchfoot on New Year’s Eve, and even performed at San Quentin Prison. The band was mentored by Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic) and Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy) after winning the global Skype competition, landing two Sacramento Sammie Awards, and then was spotlighted by USA Today, Tiger Beat, and MTV.
Cameron’s catalog has landed many TV and film placements across platforms including Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Hulu, Fox, NBC, CMT, Lifetime, Hallmark, and MTV. His music has appeared in films alongside OneRepublic and Ellie Goulding. A two-time international songwriting competition winner and recipient of a LA Posi Music Award,
Cameron has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Eurovision winner and The Voice coach Lena Meyer-Landrut—whose collaboration with him was used for X-Men: Dark Phoenix—as well as viral pop artist Alexandra Stan. His songwriting has also been a force for change—raising nearly $1 million for anti-trafficking efforts with Courage Worldwide and earning the support of the Prime Minister of Niger, who invited Cameron’s band to perform for the nation’s youth.
With millions of streams and a growing global network of collaborators, Cameron continues to write from a place of empathy, vision, and personal truth—crafting songs that meet people where they are, hoping to leave them better than they were.
