Bobby Cressey

Bobby Cressey

What is your hometown?

I was born in San Diego, CA

What is your current location?

After living in Scotland for four years as a kid and launching my music career over many years in Los Angeles playing behind tons of artists like Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and The Game, I'm back in my hometown of San Diego, CA.

Who are your favorite composers/producers?

I have so many favorite composers, performers and producers! I'm a keyboardist by trade so in the classical realm I love playing Bach, Debussy, Chopin. In the jazz / pop world I love Herbie Hancock, David Paich and all the legendary studio keyboardists. For producers I love Quincy Jones (doesn't get any better than the MJ records), Dr Dre, Pharrell Williams, Zedd, and Diplo. For modern film composers I love Alan Silvestri, John Williams (of course), and Alexandre Desplat.

What is an interesting fun fact about you?

I hold down one of the most unique gigs that anyone can claim to have. For ten years I have been the organist for the San Diego Padres. Getting paid to play music and watch sports has been a low key dream job!
