Composer Adam Irizarry, also known as “Adam Michaelson” when in his singer/songwriter persona, grew up in The Bronx, New York City, and now resides in Los Angeles, CA. Adam began playing piano at the age of 2. Incredibly supportive and loving parents nurtured his art from that young age, placing him in music school from the age of 5, all the way through his graduation from famed conservatory Manhattan School of Music.

Adam has twice won honorable mention in the Billboard National Songwriting Contest, he’s scored a number of films, he appeared on Broadway in the lead role of "The Piano Man" in the hit rock musical, Movin’ Out, and he released his debut album, Elephants, Walls, and Fences to critical acclaim in 2013. Adam enjoys helping people tell stories with music, and particularly likes scoring to picture.

Adam also tours with Windborne Music, performing rock and pop tribute shows with Symphony, Philharmonic, and Pops orchestras throughout the world. Adam’s talent as an accomplished pianist, singer and rock songwriter, combined with his many years of education in classical and jazz music, informs his work as a composer with regard to melody, harmony, and setting a mood in a variety of styles.
