What is your hometown?
I've lived all over the place, but I guess my hometown would have to be Kirkwood, Missouri.
What is your current location?
My home base now is Phoenix, Arizona but I am back and forth between Phoenix, Nashville and Los Angeles.
Who are your favorite composers/producers?
Man, that's tough. I love everything from Beethoven to Gershwin, to Dave Grusin, Mark Isham, John Barry, John Williams...
What is an interesting fun fact about you?
I was a Telecommunications Engineering Manager for a major Telecomm corporation.
Larry Vail is a published songwriter, splitting his time between Nashville and Los Angeles. He writes primarily Country music with influences from Blues to Bluegrass to Jazz and Rock. He also composes soundtrack/underscore music. He maintains an active performance schedule around Nashville and LA.
Fortunate to have co-writers on both coasts, he is always looking to co-write with talented, motivated songwriters - in particular young, upcoming artists that also write.
