Before time began in 1985, a new band of disparate musicians put their creative forces together and formed Big Beaver. Founder Terry Gorka combined forces with several excellent musicians and songwriters, Bev Moore and Mark Waterfield in London, England. Together they wrote, produced and performed over 100 songs in the next 3-plus years. In their studio they also wrote and produced music for Sarah Cracknell (St. Etienne), Judy Boucher, Cossie, Al Jarreau and others. They disbanded in the late 80’s and in more recent times, Terry worked with Paul Croteau remixing some of the earlier tracks which are featured exclusively with Pink Shark Music. Original mixes and new mixes are available. Terry lives in the beach town of Ventura, California where he continues to write and produce music for film and tv in collaboration with vocalists and musicians from all over the world. At present, he is a big fan of Lewis Capaldi, Pink, Vance Joy, Ed Sheeran as well as older favorites Springsteen, Dylan, Beatles ... to name a few. His favorite karaoke song (by far) is Toby Keith’s “I Love This Bar”.
